The third race in the Mountain States Cup series, this race course is one of the best in the country. Cross-country and downhill mountain bike races that are a part of the qualifying circuit for the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships.

 He will be demonstrating the creation of huge vessels on the wheel using coils and paddling, as well as intricate carving techniques to complete these beautiful forms. Take a trip back to when BB King and Muddy Waters were just reaching the heights of their internationally successful music careers at the “River and Brews” Blues Festival. The event kicks off with an “open mic” night at the Bull o' the Woods Saloon then continues outdoors at the base of the Red chair lift all day Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy New Mexico’s finest microbreweries, finger-lickin’ good bar-b-que, and fantastic musical entertainment!

Community-wide festivities based around the Feast Day of San Antonio (Saint Anthony). Events will include: food, fun, music, vendors and entertainment of all sorts. Participate in a game of disc golf, strap your mountain bike to the back of the Platinum chairlift, unload, and cruise down the mountain on a variety of trails, hike around Red River Ski Area and have lunch at the The Tip Restaurant (located at the top of the ski area), or just catch a round trip ride and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of the mountains.

The chairlift ride takes approximately 30 minutes up and 30 minutes down.

This simple enjoyment includes breathtaking views of: Carson National Forest, The Town of Red River, New Mexico native vegetation, and grasses. Your senses will be enlighten with the fresh  scent of wildflowers, crisp mountain air, sounds of gurgling streams, wild birds, the gentle mountain breeze, and more.

This acclaimed music festival features regional and national artists on the Kit Carson Park Solar Stage.  Held in conjunction with the annual Solar Fest which features the latest in alternative and sustainable technologies, this 'learn and play' weekend draws crowds from all over the Southwest.

The weekend begins with dinner and a slide show and discussion of the concepts and history of Earthships. The following day begins with a morning lecture; the afternoon is devoted to on-site tire pounding, mudding, and building can walls. Sunday is split between additional lectures and touring a variety of completed Earthships in The Greater World Community, including the Phoenix. The lecture series includes explanation and demonstration of the systems packages, and addressing individual participant's questions.
Reviewing the Earthship books and videos prior to the seminar will help you get the most out of this experience.
