The State of New Mexico has now implemented a permit program for ATV/OHV. You can purchase your permit over the phone by contacting the New Mexico Department of Tourism at 505-827-4751, 505-827-7400 or 505-827-4759.

TOURS
Red River is an ideal place to go four-wheel exploring. Escorted tours are available, or if you prefer, go it alone along a series of well-marked area trails. There are old mining camps to explore and plenty of breathtaking high country as well. (All we ask is that you explore responsibly; stay on trails, keep noise to a minimum and leave as little trace of your passage as possible.)
