Tubing on Strawberry Hill BEGINS for the 2011/2012 season. The first
weekend will be this Friday and Saturday. There after tubing will be
Wednesday through Saturday for the season, with special hours during
December, March and Holiday weekends. The tubing hill will be open from
5 to 7 p.m. and the cost is $8, cash only. Tube rentals are included
and the hill is well lit.

Angel Fire Resort Ski Area opens for the 2011-2012 Ski and Snowboard Season. Lift tickets are $64 per day for adults. Angel Fire has two high-speed quad chairlifts, three double chairlifts and two surface lifts. The Ski Area is open daily from 9 AM to 4 PM. Night Skiing happens every weekend from 4-9 PM.

Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade
In the base area beginning at 6 p.m. a great way to kick-off your
Christmas Eve celebrations! Watch as skiers make their way down the
mountain in the dark with flares as their only means of light.

Annual Christmas Luminaria Tour at the Enchanted Forest
Cross country ski a 3-kilometer loop lighted with luminarias along the
way. Placing luminarias (paper bags with a lighted candle inside)
around houses and along streets is a New Mexico Christmas tradition.
Quite possibly the most beautiful cross country ski experience in North
America!
Guests can't believe how easy skiing by candlelight can be. There is
plenty of light to see the trails and the skiing is fantastic. And if
it begins to snow the effect is just incredible. It truly is like
skiing in a dream.

Come and enjoy an Old Fashioned New Year's Eve Party in Red River! This event has been going on for over 20 years, and has become a family tradion for many of our visitors that come year after year!
Enjoy an array of old fashioned games, some of which include, a hula hoop contest, bubble gum blowing contest and a jump rope contest.
We will have music and refreshments, and we drop the New Year's Eve ball at 10:00 p.m. (New York Time!).

New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks
Ring in the New Year in style with our torchlight parade and fireworks
display. Starting at 6 p.m. at the base of lift #1. Countdown to the New
Year in the Martini Tree Bar immediately following the fireworks. Live
entertainment TBA. Doors open at 8 p.m. show starts at 9 p.m. The
celebration in the Martini Tree Bar will be a 21 and over event. More
